How Our Drug & Alcohol Treatment Program Works
Our drug and alcohol treatment program ensures our clients are treated as individuals and become part of the Footprints family, not just as another bed to fill. Our professional staff – from our Medical Director to our Behavioral Techs – ensure that your long-term success is our priority. We offer assistance with the effects of withdrawals and medical stabilization, and combine traditional, evidence-based treatment with a holistic approach focused on mind, body, and spirit.
What to Expect From Our Florida Drug & Alcohol Treatment Program
Treatment begins with a simple pre-screening on the phone. Once admitted, our commitment to your recovery begins on your first day. You will meet with our medical doctor and receive a comprehensive health and physical exam. You will then receive an assessment with a licensed professional and will be assigned an individual therapist who you will meet with for individual therapy a minimum of twice per week. Your therapist will work with you to design an individualized treatment plan for your specific needs and addiction.
What a Typical Day Looks Like
Just footsteps away from the whispering waves of the Gulf of Mexico, our mornings start off on the beach with either a morning dedication or a refreshing yoga practice, and the day includes group therapy, trauma therapy (where needed), dual diagnosis groups, expressive arts therapy, nutrition, personal training, massage therapy, daily gym and sober activities on the beach.
Other Things to Know about Our Drug & Alcohol Treatment Program
At Footprints, we know how successful gender-specific treatment programs are. That is why we provide gender-specific housing to ensure that men and women are given the proper professional care that they need.
30, 60 and 90-Day Programs
Not everyone will overcome addiction in 30 days. Some addictions and co-occurring disorders require more time and energy to recover from. That’s why we offer unique 30, 60 and 90-day programs that fit your personal recovery goals. As you get going at Footprints, we’ll work with you to determine how long of a program is best for you.
Outpatient Programs Available
While outpatient therapy isn’t for everyone, we do offer our small Intensive Outpatient Program for local clients. This treatment option is best for those who meet specific criteria and have a sound support network at home and can benefit from the therapies at this level.
Aftercare and step-down programs bridge the transition from treatment to the real world, and greatly reduce the risk of relapse. Many Footprints clients continue at this level of care up to a year after initial treatment.
We offer various forms of payment, so finances never have to be a reason to not get the addiction treatment you need. We accept most insurances like Aetna, Humana, Cigna, United HealthCare, BlueCross BlueShield and more.
